Delivery times

Orders are normally prepared for dispatch within 1–2 business days. The following estimated delivery times run from dispatch:
EU: normally 2–5 business days
US: normally 2–5 business days
Canada: normally 2–5 business days
Australia: normally 2–5 business days

Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. Any different delivery estimate for a particular product or address is shown before you place your order. These are estimates, unless we expressly agree a delivery date.

Shipping charges

The shipping charge and any applicable free shipping offer are displayed before you pay. The total shown at checkout applies to your order.

Tracking

We email you a tracking link when your order has shipped. Items in the same order may arrive in separate parcels.

Taxes and import charges

Applicable taxes and any import charges that we collect are shown before purchase. If an order will be imported and you must pay charges directly to the carrier or customs authority, we will disclose this before you place the order. Contact us if you need clarification about charges for your address.

Delayed or missing delivery

If your parcel is delayed, missing or damaged, email info@hyggebyscandinavia.com with your order number. We will investigate with the carrier and provide an updated delivery estimate or the remedy required by applicable law. You retain your rights even if a delay is caused by a carrier or customs.

For EU consumers, delivery must take place within the agreed period or, if none has been agreed, within 30 days. If we fail to deliver, you may set an appropriate additional deadline and cancel if it is not met. An additional deadline is not required where we refuse delivery or delivery by a particular date is essential under the applicable rules.

For US orders, we will ship within the timeframe stated before purchase. If we cannot ship on time, we will seek your agreement to a delay where required by the FTC shipping rules or cancel and issue the required prompt refund. Refunds covered by those rules are issued within the applicable deadline, generally seven working days for cash and third-party credit payments.

Responsibility for delivery

We bear the risk of loss or damage until you, or a person you designate other than the carrier, receive the goods. The statutory exception applies if you independently appoint a carrier that we did not offer.
